To grow as a Christian must have personal devotional life ... Stop praying and we slow down ... Need discipline, as advanced civilisation has more distractions 

Why daily prayer:

God loves to move in our hearts early ...praise and worship....but also seeking God "I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me" Prov 8:17

We shall have the spiritual and physical strength to carry out our responsibilities ...develop the mind of Christ and know what he wants in each situation in the day

Devotional time must include bible reading .... Clear from conflicts and pressures of the day
