There is a void that can't be filled by anything but genuine communication with God ...purpose to life, nourishing the core of our soul
Adam was physical before being spiritual ..that was lost via sin ...Abram given the chance to have fellowship of the faithful ... Worship became ritual ... So God took initiative again with Jesus
He is a living being that seeks our fellowship ...not a resource centre ...in spirit and in truth ..the father seekers such to worship him John 4:23
Love requires satisfaction through fellowship and communion
In him are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge Col2:3
It takes discipline and effort to live your life at the doorpost of the Lord ....
