What prayer accomplishes

For someone to pray, must motivated ....desire needs to be created ..must see temporal and eternal benefits

Prayer produces power

Prayer creates an open heaven ..freedom and spiritual Liberty  ...level of faith is high and little spiritual opposition ...not by might or natural power.... But by the spirit

God has no special children, we can all have power in prayer if willing to pay the price

It will take violent dedication to prayer to bring the powers of God into our lives ..discipline ..power in prayer takes time ...priorities ... For power packed prayer

Prayer brings brokenness

God cannot use someone who is not broken and completely surrendered to him .. Lack of brokenness leads to pride and arrogance 

When you come into contact with God you realise your sin ... Humble before God ..no natural qualifications to be in God's presence ..aware of your need for forgiveness ...now walking softly and gently with the Holy Spirit .. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman ..the abiding presence will bring about brokenness and surrender

God has never chosen perfect people ... Inclination is my way, but need to give into Holy Spirit as guide

To walk in his presence we must remain broke and humble..walk in honesty before God

We need grace ..get more grace by being broken in humility

Jesus the cornerstone in a spiritual temple (the church) and each of us a living stone ..each shaped by the builder for it's rightful place ..stone is of little value that can't be shaped ...crushed to powder ..no good for God's eternal purpose ...so walk in brokenness not failure or poor self image ..God chose us! All things working for an eternal end

Surrender not passive ..yielding to will of God ... Give up our natural right to do what we want...a means not an end..effective instruments of God
